Why is there a green and red room?
Thanks for your question. The Australian Parliament has 2 rooms, the Senate (the red room) and the House of Representatives (the green room) to make decisions about how Australia should be run. The colours of the 2 different rooms are a tradition that the Australian Parliament borrowed from the British Parliament, which has a red House of Lords and a green House of Commons.
